Calgary Business Returns With In-Person Mental Health Event
(November 26, 2021 Calgary, AB) Community Now! Magazine is hosting its 4th annual mental health event December 15th at Contemporary Calgary.
Award-winning publisher and mental health advocate, Krista Malden, is leading the charge on mental health with her Community Now approach.
Last year Malden pivoted to a virtual event due to the pandemic but is thrilled to have a live audience again. “My mission is to promote positive mental health, community connection, and transformation. This highly anticipated conference provides the perfect platform to achieve that,” explained Malden. “If we change nothing, nothing will change. Shifting our thoughts takes effort but is key in moving the needle for our own mental health. This event provides practical tools and inspiration for people to implement in their daily lives. Together we can take the day.”
Join the Community Now! Magazine Village for a day of amazing speakers, activities, presentations, panel discussions, an Alberta-made movie screening, and networking! There will be vendors, free non-alcoholic drinks provided by Partake Brewing and Sexy AF Spirits, and live podcasts. Let's CHANGE the NARRATIVE around mental health!
"The community has come together to put on this event. A mental health event run by the community FOR the community. "Krista Malden – Founder, Community Now! Magazine
This event will demonstrate how change is possible. We have the capacity to create new habits, rewire neurological pathways, and deliberately create the life we want to live. Together we can take hold of the steering wheel, grab the bull by the horns, and all those other great clichés.
